Limits & Troubleshooting
Rate limits and fixes for common connection problems.
Limits
These limits start on 15 November 2026. Until then each account keeps one daily total of 1,000 / 2,000 / 4,000 calls (Starter / Professional / Ultimate), unless it switches early on the limits page. An account can switch back once before 15 November.
Asking again within 24 hours is free: the same channel with the same tool, or the identical search. Calls that fail or find nothing use none of a limit either.

Per key or per account? The per-minute limit is counted per API key. The 24h caps (each tool's cap and the live lookups allowance) and the concurrent-job caps are counted per account and shared by every key you own, so minting more keys does not raise them.
Search query required: All search tools (search_shorts_channels, search_longform_channels, search_viral_videos) require a search query. Browsing without a query is not supported.
